MISS TEEN FLORIDA 2010 ... Stephanie Bradley

Stephanie is a 19 year old senior at Jacksonville University in their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. She will graduate with her BSN in April 2011 at the age of 20 and she will be the youngest in her program to ever do so. She is a member of Beta Club, Business Academy, National Honor Society, and received the President’s Award. In addition, she won 1st place in her school district’s Business Math Competition. She also is a member of the Health Academy which has enabled her to become CPR Certified and a Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant.

Volunteering has always been a passion of Stephanies. She began volunteering at the age of six making Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for needy families. Her love of volunteering has grown over the years to include participating in a number of activities such as the Ronald McDonald House Annual Fun Run and Family Day, Gingerbread House Extravaganza and Annual Mc Gala as well as being a regular volunteer at the house. She has also donated toys for Christmas to the All Childrens Hospital in Tampa, Florida, the Ronald McDonald House in Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville, Florida, and the Arnold Palmers Childrens Hospital. Stephanie loves being involved with the elderly and she spends a lot of her time volunteering at Wells Nursing Home in her hometown with their Adopt-a-Grandparent program and also with the Terra Vista Rehab and Health Center in Orlando, Florida. Stephanies volunteer activities also include taking part in the Susan G. Komen Run for Breast Cancer and organizing the annual Eggstravaganza as well as the Back to School Health Fair at Destiny People Worship Center for the last several years. Stephanie is proud to say that she has completed over 1500 community service hours.

Stephanie has been recognized by President; George W. Bush, First Lady; Laura Bush, Governor; Charlie Crist, Lt. Governor; Jeff Kottkamp, Baker County Chamber of Congress; Andrew Crenshaw, Member of Congress; Kurt S. Browning, Secretary of State; Cliff Stearns, United States Representative; Dr. Eric J. Smith, Commissioner Florida Department of Education; Bill McCollum, Attorney General; and Charles H. Bronson, Commissioner of Agriculture for Stephanies commitment to volunteer service.

Stephanies hobbies include bowling, deep sea fishing, water sports, ice-skating, dancing (Tap & Jazz), learning sign language, and singing with her family while her dad plays guitar. Stephanie’s family loves spending time together by having highly competitive Monopoly marathons.

Stephanie has been modeling since the age of 12. She was honored to be featured in the 2009 Fashion Showcase for Pageantry and Prom Time Magazine. Stephanie has also modeled at the Atlanta Fashion Market with the House of Wu. She has modeled for all the major Bridal Shops in Jacksonville, Florida at the annual Bridal Show at the World Golf Village and the All That Glitter Gala Fashion Show in Wellington, Florida. Stephanie was also on the cover of Pastys Magazine. She filmed a Vocational Video for the programs at her high school and just recently shot for the June cover of Water Edge Magazine. Stephanie loves to model and hopes to continue this throughout her life.

Stephanies dedication to volunteering has led her to start Dreamboxes & Dreamjournals. This idea originated from volunteering at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind, speaking to young people about their goals and dreams in life, and also with volunteering at Ronald McDonald House with the young people staying there. With Dreamboxes & Dreamjounrals, Stephanie helps children with goal-setting, short-term motivation and long-term vision for their future. During her reign as Miss Teen Florida United States she looks forward to sharing the message of Dreamboxes & Dreamjournals statewide.
